Member Duties : Build the fundraising, teacher training, partnership, and program evaluation infrastructure needed to launch and sustain Peace in Practice's new donation-based, community-serving yoga studio in North Minneapolis. This project will fight poverty by providing individuals representative of the local community with training and resources related to yoga and wellness so they may create accessible programs supporting healthy futures of those experiencing poverty. The VISTA will establish repeatable systems that allow the studio to scale and remain responsive to community needs well beyond the VISTA team's term of service.
