Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a variety of equipment and facilities to ensure smooth operations across manufacturing and residential settings. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or lead maintenance activities as needed. The Maintenance Person will play a vital role in ensuring safety, efficiency, and reliability of all systems and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on hotel rooms, electrical systems
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues using the tools and equipment provided by hotel.
- Conduct room repairs and perform residential painting as required for facility upkeep
- Read and interpret technical manuals, and maintenance documentation to execute repairs accurately
- Utilize whatsapp to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols during all maintenance activities
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with hotel guests or front desk/housekeeping regarding maintenance needs
Experience
- Proven experience in hotels and/or other hospitality environments
- Strong knowledge with experience in hotel setting, electrical systems, and plumbing repairs
- Hands-on experience with hotel maintenance is a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
- Knowledge of safety standards related to hotel work, room issues, and general facilities maintenance
