Overview
We are currently seeking a deadline-driven Construction Superintendent to oversee our commercial upfit construction projects and to act as the link between various project parties. The Construction Superintendent will supervise all subcontractors, consultants and vendors on a daily basis ensuring that adequate manpower is available and exceptional work is performed
To ensure success you should complete projects on time and within budget, and never compromise on quality.
Construction Superintendent Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee on-site work
- Ensure quality standards are met across the board
- Monitor safety, compliance and cleanliness
- Review and become familiar with the schedule and budget, and ensuring adherence to these in conjunction with the Project Manager
- Place orders for materials, and being responsible for equipment and materials on site
- Following the project timeline to ensure deadlines are met.
- Maintaining records such as daily field reports, RFIs, etc.
- Liaising with inspection authorities regarding approvals
- Complete daily and weekly reports on time and provide project status photos
Construction Superintendent Requirements:
- At least 2 years experience as a Construction Superintendent, preferably in interior upfits
- Ability and experience working occupied office space and phased projects
- Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and/or similar applications. Experience with Procore software preferred but not required
- Ability to interpret and build according to drawings, specifications and other documents
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding organizational skills

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
