Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills and have a passion for providing an exceptional dining experience. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have a memorable experience. Experience in fine dining is preferred, but we are willing to train the right individual.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha POS system.
- Provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials and wine pairings.
- Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests while maintaining high standards of presentation.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal and address any concerns promptly.
- Sanitate tables and dining areas between guests to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Assist with bussing tables and resetting them for new guests efficiently.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
- Uphold all health and safety regulations while providing excellent guest services.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Proficiency in using POS systems, specifically Aloha POS is a plus.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in fine dining settings is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with guests and team members effectively.
- Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail during service.
- Knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure cleanliness in the dining area.
- A proactive attitude towards helping guests and enhancing their dining experience.
