Job Summary:
The Community Guidance Clinic for Central CT is hiring a Full-Time Clinician for the IPV-FAIR (Intimate Partner Violence- Family Assessment Intervention Response) program to serve families in central Connecticut who are impacted by Intimate Partner Violence. Clinicians will be trained in the assessment and delivery of an evidence-based treatment approach that works directly with families affected by Intimate Partner Violence. They will work directly and individually with each parent in their home, providing a treatment model created for parents, Father’s for Change or Mothers and More. This is an in home evidenced based model, and will require the clinician to travel from the office to homes within the region. Clinicians will partner with a Family Navigator who will address the case management needs of the family. Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply. EOE
Responsibilities:
- Provide the screening and assessment of parents.
- Develop a treatment plan through collaboration with identified parents
- Provide weekly in home therapy for identified parents, using the Fathers for Change and Mothers and More models.
- Build and maintain a relationship with community stakeholders (i.e., child protection services, schools, other behavioral health professionals, courts, and police)
- Complete required documentation and data entry.
- Complete timely discharge summaries and discharge forms.
- Participate in monthly reviews with DCF.
Education:
Masters level, licensed or license eligible Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist Professional Counselor or other realted licensed professional
Experience: A minimum of two years of experience in a counseling setting providing culturally competent treatment preferred. Ability to work collaboratively on a team and a variable work schedule to include evenings. Excellent written and verbal communications skills are required.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
