ESY Summer Para
Riverview Elementary: Grades K-5 and ECSE
Boeckman Middle School: Grades 6-12+
7 hours per day, 28 hours per week
or 3.5 hrs per day, 14 hours per week
July 6th-23rd,
Orientation and preparation day July, 6th 7:45 am to 11:15 am and 11:45 am to 3:15 pm, Mondays thru Thursdays.
Multiple positions available.
Salary: Current Paraprofessionals will be paid their current hourly rate.
$22/per hour for new employees
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with multilingual (EL) learners and/or students in ESY.
- Experience working with children, work experience in educational setting preferred.
- Must be available for all sessions in order to receive consideration.
- Must be organized
- Good human relation skills
- Previous experience
Responsibilities:
- Help manage behavior of students.
- Guide students in working and playing appropriately.
- Assist with large group activities such as drill work, reading aloud, storytelling and field trips.
