Previous CNC experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person who has a strong work ethic, is eager to learn, and is committed to showing up and succeeding. A stable and reliable work history is required for consideration. This is a full-time, first-shift position at our manufacturing facility in Canton, Ohio.
CNC Press Brake and Turret Operators – Set up and operate CNC Press Brake and Turret equipment to manufacture sheet metal parts according to product specifications and production schedules.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Set up and operate CNC press brake machine or Turre.
· Read and understand production assembly drawings.
· Use measuring tools, calipers, tape measure. Recognize different material type/gauge.
· Check work for accuracy and completeness.
· Follow standard shop practices and verbal instructions.
· Must be able to understand established procedures and work instructions.
· Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. with no assistance.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- 1-2 years of press brake experience
- Ability to read and understand documents written in standard English
- Ability to read and interpret production drawings and work instructions
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, verbal, or diagram form
- Ability to solve problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Be safety and quality-oriented, accountable, dependable, reliable, productive, ethical, a strong communicator, innovative, a team player, and have a positive attitude
