We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers in a Smoke Shop environment. You will assist with sales, manage inventory, and ensure a pleasant shopping experience for all patrons. Your ability to engage with customers and promote products will be essential to your success in this position.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs.
- Sell products effectively by understanding customer preferences and providing recommendations.
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for transactions, ensuring accurate cash handling.
- Maintain stock levels by organizing shelves and managing inventory efficiently.
- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase new items and encourage sales.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.
- Assist in the training of new staff members as needed.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or smoke shop is preferred.
- Strong understanding of retail math to manage transactions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficient in cash handling procedures and POS systems.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills for effective stock management.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Shift: 3pm-10pm, Saturday-Thursday
Pay will be flat rate plus commission.
