New Era Solutions One LLC is a growing DME company headquartered in Canton, Michigan. Our current business is primarily focused on orthopedic braces, and we are now preparing to expand into prosthetic and advanced orthotic services through a mobile, field-based care model.
We are looking for an experienced Certified Prosthetist / Orthotist to join our team and help us build this new direction from the ground up.
This is not a traditional clinic-based position at launch. We are a small, growing company, and this role is best suited for a professional who understands a developing environment, values flexibility, and is interested in helping shape a new prosthetics program rather than simply stepping into an already established system.
The position will be structured in two stages:
Stage 1 — Development / Setup Phase
During the initial phase, the prosthetist will help us prepare the company for prosthetic services, including clinical structure, compliance requirements, workflow, documentation, vendor/lab relationships, and operational readiness.
Stage 2 — Active Patient Care Phase
Once all required approvals, systems, and patient flow are in place, the role will expand into active prosthetic patient care, evaluations, fittings, follow-ups, adjustments, and mobile visits.
We are looking for someone who can become a long-term clinical partner in this direction.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical guidance for developing our prosthetic and advanced orthotic program
- Perform prosthetic and/or orthotic evaluations, fittings, follow-ups, and adjustments once the program is active
- Assist with Medicare and payer documentation requirements
- Help establish compliant clinical workflows
- Support vendor, fabrication lab, and product selection decisions
- Travel to patient locations when needed, including homes, facilities, or partner sites
- Work independently in a mobile / field-based environment
- Represent the company professionally with patients, caregivers, and referral partners
- Contribute practical knowledge to help build a scalable prosthetics program
Qualifications
- Current ABC and/or BOC certification as a Prosthetist and/or Orthotist
- Active license or eligibility to practice in Michigan, if required
- Experience with prosthetic patient care and clinical documentation
- Understanding of Medicare, DMEPOS, and payer compliance standards
- Ability to work independently and communicate clearly
- Comfortable joining a growing company at an early stage
- Willingness to help develop systems, not only provide clinical services
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a licensed/certified prosthetist or prosthetist-orthotist who wants flexibility, autonomy, and long-term growth potential. This person understands that the company is currently developing this direction and is comfortable with a phased compensation and workload structure.
This role may be a good fit for someone who already has experience in O&P and wants to participate in building a mobile prosthetics program with future growth potential.
Compensation
Compensation will be discussed individually based on experience, credentials, availability, and level of involvement.
We are open to structuring compensation in two stages:
- Development/setup compensation during the preparation phase
- Per-visit, per-case, or expanded compensation once the prosthetics program becomes active and patient volume begins
Travel and clinical work will be compensated based on agreed terms.
