Bert's Place Too is a independent living preparatory program for adolescent girls between the ages of 15-18 years old. We are looking for a mature and passionate women who is capable of creating a nurturing environment that is conduce to nurturing environment for adolescent girls in a community-based group home setting.
Job Responsibilities includes but are not limited to;
· Facilitate morning routine, i.e., wake up, personal hygiene, morning chores, breakfast, and monitor exit for school.
· Perform morning bedroom checks, i.e., straighten up rooms, remove excess trash and debris, vacuum floors, document on allowance sheet as appropriate, etc.
· Perform morning bathroom check, i.e., clean bathroom, check laundry, and replenish paper towels and toilet paper roles.
· Take out ingredients for meals according to menu, i.e., thaw meets, put out sides, snacks, etc.
· Start meal preparation for dinner and leave special instructions for evening staff in green log book.
· Inspect the entire inside of the house for emergency maintenance and damages.
· Update weekly menu
· Shop for groceries
· Manage grocery budget.
· Submit cash advance and receipts for money spent.
