We are a local moving company looking for someone who can be a mover AND a driver for our company. Experience driving a non-CDL 26' truck is a bonus. We are looking for someone who can be reliable, show up on time, and communicate with co-workers effectively.
Employees will need to be cleanly shaved/professional looking and have a positive attitude, daily.
Responsibilities:
-Class E driver's license is REQUIRED
- MUST have clean driving record for 2 years
- Load and unload furniture, boxes, and other items from trucks
- Perform heavy lifting and physical labor throughout the day
- Provide exceptional customer service during the moving process
- Follow established routes and delivery schedules
- Safely and efficiently operate a 26' box truck
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of moving equipment and supplies
Experience:
- Previous experience as a mover(1+ year) or in a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of refrigerated trailer operations is a bonus
Skills:
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds or more)
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively
- Ability to follow directions and work independently or as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills to handle unexpected challenges during moves
