Position Overview
Rally Pickleball is seeking a motivated and organized Part Time Assistant Pickleball Professional to support daily programming operations and deliver exceptional on-court experiences.
This role is a blend of on-court execution, administrative coordination, tournament preparation, and RallyTrack testing. The Assistant Pro will help execute leagues, tournaments, events, and socials, manage key administrative tasks such as scheduling, player organization, and tracking, and contribute to the ongoing improvement of RallyTrack through structured testing and feedback.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and energized by both creating a high-quality player experience and keeping programming organized behind the scenes. The ideal candidate has evening and weekend availability.
Key Responsibilities
Programming Organization
- Programming & Play-By-Point Management
- Create and manage league seasons within Play-By-Point
- Set up and support tournaments, scrambles, and social events
- Monitor registration numbers and flag adjustments based on demand
League Operations
- Create and maintain league tracking spreadsheets
- Organize players into teams and prepare weekly match play sheets
- Support execution of leagues and ensure programs run smoothly and on schedule
- Lead and manage 2–4 leagues per week
- Act as a point of contact for players during programming
Player Experience
- Help create a welcoming, organized, and engaging on-court environment
- Guide players through programming to ensure clarity and flow of play
- Support a high-energy and social atmosphere during leagues and events
Training & Development
- Support onboarding and training of league captains
- Ensure captains understand gameplay rules and programming standards
- Maintain consistency in league structure and quality
Inventory Management
- Monitor house paddle inventory and replace damaged paddles as needed
- Label and log new paddles accurately
- Maintain and update inventory tracking systems
RallyTrack Support & Testing
RallyTrack is Rally’s in-house technology platform that enhances the on-court experience through real-time scoring, game formats, and interactive gameplay. It guides players through matches, tracks performance, and powers a more engaging, gamified pickleball experience.
As part of this role, the Assistant Pro will conduct weekly testing sessions, use RallyTrack during live play, and work directly with the Product Owner and development team to identify issues, validate updates, and provide structured feedback that helps improve the overall experience.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in weekly RallyTrack testing sessions during live and controlled play
- Execute defined test scenarios and provide clear, structured feedback
- Work with the Product Manager and development team to validate new features and deployments
- Log bugs, write basic tickets, and contribute to user stories in Jira or internal tools as needed
- Support light troubleshooting of RallyTrack during programming as needed
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Prior knowledge of pickleball rules and scoring

- Passion for pickleball and community engagement
Preferred:
- Experience with event coordination, league management, or racquet sports
- Familiarity with tools such as Play-By-Point, Slack, or Jira
