Trap Rock & Granite Quarries is currently looking for an experienced 336 Excavator & 982 Wheel Loader Operator. The employee would be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of an excavator and front-end wheel loads at our material yard located in Kansas City, KS. This role requires good work ethics, and adherence to safety protocols while performing tasks such as loading, unloading, and pushing piles.
Responsibilities
· Operate all equipment in a safe manner
· Unloading rail cars on train days
· Operate a front-end wheel loader loading trucks
· Conduct pre-operational checks and daily maintenance of equipment in accordance with manufacturer’s recommendation.
· Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
· Maintain a clean and organized work area and equipment.
Qualifications
· 1+ years’ experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator
· Strong understanding of heavy equipment mechanics and basic troubleshooting
· Strong commitment to safety
· Good communication
· Must have knowledge of CAT 336 Excavator and Running CAT 982 Front End Wheel Loader
· Year-Round Work! Rain or shine! Flexible schedule due to trains 55 days a year.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
