Overview
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Solar Installers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation of solar energy systems on residential and commercial properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, construction, and roofing, along with a passion for renewable energy solutions. This position requires a commitment to safety and quality workmanship while working in various outdoor environments.
Duties
- Install solar panels and associated equipment according to specifications and local codes.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate installation.
- Perform high voltage and low voltage electrical work as required.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient project completion.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and forklifts safely and effectively.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks on installed systems.
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards during installation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.
- Represent the company with respect, dignity, and professionalism.
Skills
- Must have a valid driver's license with a clean record. A DMV printout is required to be submitted prior to hiring (a company vehicle will be provided)
- Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics related to electrical systems.
- Strong electrical experience preferred.
- Knowledge of high voltage systems, low voltage systems, and NEC regulations.
- Familiarity with roofing techniques and safety practices.
- Must be comfortable working on various roof heights, slopes, and roof types safely.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and forklifts in a construction environment.
- Ability to work effectively on construction sites, demonstrating teamwork and communication skills.
- Previous solar installation experience is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
