Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented Ford Certified A/C and Electrical Technician, with electrical systems, and interior/exterior trim repair. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong diagnostic abilities, technical proficiency, and a commitment to delivering high-quality vehicle service and repairs. Technicians may work independently or collaboratively in a team environment, ensuring superior service while maintaining cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform complex repairs and advanced diagnostics in key skill areas, including air conditioning, interior electrical systems, electric vehicle systems, interior trim, and exterior trim.
- Conduct comprehensive multi-point inspections and provide accurate repair estimates.
- Adhere to Ford Motor Company and Aaron Automotive Group guidelines and standards.
- Perform various repairs and maintenance based on certification level, including but not limited to: OBD II systems, brake components, tires, tune-ups, suspension components, aerial lifts, electrical systems, state safety inspections, interior/exterior components, engines, and driveline components.
- Conduct preventive maintenance services, including oil changes, filter replacements, transmission flushes, and vehicle inspections.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Dispose of fluids safely and in accordance with environmental regulations.
- Create and maintain accurate vehicle history and maintenance records.

- Ford STARS Certification (Required):
- 34-Electrical Systems
- 35-Climate Control
- 10-Field Service Actions
- 39-Electronics
- Additional Ford STARS Certifications (Preferred):
- 43-High Voltage Systems
- 44-High Voltage Battery Repair
- Master Certifications are a plus; Senior Master certification is highly desired.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred; 3+ years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a diploma.
- 3-5 years of vehicle service and repair experience.
- 1 year of customer service experience (preferred).
- Valid California driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- ASE Automotive or Truck Certification or other relevant certifications are preferred but not necessary.
