We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Chef to lead our culinary team and elevate the dining experience for our guests. In this vital role, you will oversee all aspects of food preparation, kitchen management, and food service operations. Your expertise in fine dining, catering, and food safety will ensure that every dish meets the highest standards of quality and presentation. As a Chef, you will inspire your team through effective leadership, menu planning, and innovative culinary techniques.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production
- Develop and execute monthly menus and specials
- Manage inventory control, monitor stock levels, and oversee ordering to minimize waste and optimize resources
- Maintain rigorous food safety standards in compliance with health regulations and company policies
- Oversee food handling, preparation, and presentation to ensure consistency, quality, and visual appeal
- Coordinate shift management, assign tasks, and monitor performance to foster a motivated team environment
- Hiring and training of current and new cooks in the kitchen
- Scheduling kitchen staff and maintaining budgets
Qualifications
- Proven experience in fine dining establishments with strong culinary skills and a passion for excellence
- Demonstrated supervisory experience leading kitchen teams in fast-paced environments
- Extensive background in food production, catering, restaurant management, or hospitality settings
- Knowledge of inventory management, food safety protocols, and kitchen operations
- Skilled in menu planning, food handling, cooking techniques, and food service management
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills to motivate staff and ensure smooth kitchen operations
