We are seeking a dependable, hands-on professional to support our construction operations through equipment maintenance, material transportation, and job site support. This role offers a dynamic work environment with a balance of mechanical work, logistics coordination, and field assistance.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, rebuild, and maintain construction equipment, tools, and fleet vehicles.
- Operate and inspect machinery and equipment to identify defects and determine appropriate repair solutions.
- Perform preventive maintenance and routine inspections to ensure equipment reliability and safety.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, service logs, and warehouse inventory documentation.
- Pick up materials, tools, equipment, and supplies from vendors and deliver them to job sites.
- Retrieve materials from the warehouse and transport them to project locations in a safe and timely manner.
- Load, unload, organize, and secure materials, equipment, and tools for transport and storage.
- Assist with job site cleanup and organization to support efficient project operations.
- Provide occasional support to field crews as needed.
Work Environment
- Approximately 50% of the workweek is dedicated to equipment maintenance, repairs, and inventory management.
- Approximately 50% of the workweek involves material pickups, deliveries, transportation duties, and project site support.
- This position offers a variety of responsibilities, combining mechanical work with logistics and construction support activities.
Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude with experience maintaining and repairing construction equipment, fleet vehicles, or similar machinery preferred.
- Ability to diagnose equipment issues and perform repairs independently.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to safely lift, load, and unload materials and equipment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Team-oriented attitude with a willingness to assist in multiple areas of operations.
