Overview
We are a modern, patient centered dental practice committed to delivering exceptional care and an outstanding patient experience. We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and motivated Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in helping patients understand their treatment options, navigate insurance benefits, and confidently move forward with their dental care.
Duties
- Present treatment plans and educate patients on recommended procedures.
- Discuss financial arrangements and available payment options.
- Verify dental insurance benefits and accurately explain patient coverage and estimated out of pocket costs.
- Obtain insurance pre-authorizations when necessary.
- Schedule treatment appointments and coordinate multi-visit cases.
- Follow up with unscheduled treatment to help patients complete recommended care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes.
- Work closely with the doctor and clinical team to ensure seamless patient care.
- Answer patient questions regarding treatment, insurance, and financing.
- Assist with scheduling, recall management, and other front office duties as needed.
- Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality.
- Help achieve practice production and scheduling goals while providing exceptional customer service.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Dental Treatment Coordinator, Dental Receptionist, or Dental Office Administrator preferred.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and treatment planning.
- Experience verifying dental insurance benefits and explaining coverage to patients.
- Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Dentrix preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast paced environment.

- Ability to build trust and establish positive relationships with patients.

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
