Job Summary
We are seeking a motivation and self driven person to join our team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining generators and related equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills. The technician will provide exceptional customer service by ensuring reliable generator operation and supporting clients with technical expertise.
Duties
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventive maintenance on generators
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical issues
- Repair engines, electrical systems, and mechanical components using hand tools, and power tools.
- Conduct vehicle maintenance related to service vehicles and ensure proper operation of equipment used in field service
- Assist with heavy lifting and equipment handling during installation or repairs
- Maintain detailed service records and documentation of work performed
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs, recommend solutions, and ensure satisfaction
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during all service activities
Qualifications
- Proven dealership or service technician experience with generators or heavy equipment preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in engine repair, automotive repair, or equipment repair
- Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, and electrical systems
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and other maintenance devices
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record for vehicle maintenance tasks
- Strong troubleshooting skills combined with a proactive approach to problem-solving
