Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Aggregate Transfer Truck Driver to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role you will be responsible for safely operating a transfer truck to transport sand, gravel, rock, asphalt, and other aggregate materials to and from job sites, quarries, and customer locations. The ideal candidate has experience hauling aggregates, a strong safety record, and excellent driving skills.
Responsibilities
- Operate transfer trucks and trailers safely and efficiently.
- Transport aggregate materials to designated delivery locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete required documentation.
- Ensure loads are properly secured and comply with weight regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery tickets, logs, and records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and site personnel.
- Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
- Report vehicle maintenance needs and safety concerns promptly.
- Keep equipment clean and presentable.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements for manual transmission
- Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Experience operating transfer trucks, dump trucks, or similar heavy equipment preferred.
- Experience self loading materials utilizing heavy equipment is preferred. Let us know if you have experience when applying!
