Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies

Conduct floor care activities including sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a pristine appearance

Handle industrial cleaning tasks such as deep cleaning of machinery or large areas when required

Maintain cleanliness in both commercial and residential environments, ensuring all spaces meet health and safety standards

Assist with facilities maintenance tasks like minor repairs or reporting issues that require specialized attention

Support custodial operations by restocking supplies, emptying trash receptacles, and ensuring all equipment is properly maintained

Follow safety protocols diligently during all cleaning procedures to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations
Skills

Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures

Skilled in floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, sealing, and polishing surfaces

Knowledge of commercial cleaning practices and industrial cleaning methods

Ability to perform residential painting or minor maintenance tasks as needed

Familiarity with facilities maintenance operations and porter responsibilities

Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills

Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
