Night Auditor
Duties:
- Perform night audit functions, including reviewing and balancing accounts, reconciling discrepancies, and generating reports
- Ensure accuracy of guest accounts and resolve any billing issues
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests during check-in and check-out processes
- Assist with guest inquiries and requests, providing information about hotel amenities and local attractions
- Handle guest complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain knowledge of hotel policies, procedures, and services to effectively assist guests
- Monitor security cameras and report any suspicious activity to management
- Complete end-of-day procedures, including preparing reports for management
Skills:
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest services
- Multilingual abilities are a plus, as it allows for effective communication with a diverse range of guests
- Excellent phone etiquette to handle incoming calls and assist guests with inquiries or requests
- Experience with night audit processes is preferred, including knowledge of auditing software and procedures
- Ability to maintain positive guest relations while handling challenging situations
- Familiarity with front desk operations, including check-in/check-out procedures and reservation systems
- Proficiency in operating phone systems and other office equipment
