The Human Resources Administrator provides comprehensive administrative and operational support across multiple human resources functions, including employee lifecycle administration, HRIS maintenance, onboarding and offboarding, benefits administration, employee records management, compliance support, employment verifications, reporting, and employee communications. This role serves as a primary point of contact for routine HR inquiries, maintains accurate and confidential employee information, supports various HR programs and initiatives, and assists with special projects to ensure efficient and effective HR operations. The Human Resources Administrator works collaboratively with employees, managers, vendors, and HR team members to deliver a positive employee experience while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Proactively manage the HR shared inbox, responding to inquiries in a timely manner and escalating issues to appropriate HR team members as needed.

Support the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, internal transfers, promotions, status changes, leaves of absence, and offboarding activities.

Prepare, process, and maintain employment-related documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and legal requirements.

Administer and maintain employee records within the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), including employee demographics, job changes, compensation updates, organizational changes, and terminations.

Coordinate onboarding and employment eligibility processes, including new hire communications, documentation collection, I-9 compliance, system access requests, orientation support, and maintenance of related records and documentation.

Support employee offboarding processes, including termination paperwork, system updates, exit documentation, and coordination with internal stakeholders.

Assist with benefits administration activities, including employee enrollments, life event changes, evidence of insurability submissions, and responding to employee benefit inquiries.

Process employment verifications and other employee-related requests in a timely and confidential manner.

Assist with compensation administration by processing approved wage increases, spot bonuses, and other employee compensation changes.

Generate, analyze, and distribute HR reports, metrics, and ad hoc reporting requests as needed.

Review HR-related invoices and documentation for accuracy and proper processing.

Support recruiting and talent acquisition activities as needed, including interview coordination, candidate communications, job postings, and background check administration.

Assist with HR compliance initiatives, audits, record retention requirements, and policy administration.

Complete special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.

3+ years of experience in Human Resources, HR administration, employee services, or related professional office environment.

Experience supporting multiple HR functions, including employee records management, onboarding, benefits administration, HRIS maintenance, and employee support.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.

Experience working with HRIS platforms, applicant tracking systems, and other HR technology solutions preferred.

Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle highly sensitive employee information with discretion.
Applicants must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record, as this position requires occasional travel for company business. Candidates should be comfortable operating a vehicle as part of their job responsibilities and must meet any applicable company and insurance requirements.
