I. General Description (Position Overview)
The Marketing Coordinator will support Move United’s national marketing and branding initiatives to elevate the organization’s visibility, maintain a strong brand identity, and drive stakeholder engagement. Working under the guidance of department leadership, the coordinator will focus on the day-to-day execution of marketing tasks, content creation, website updates, and event-based social media coverage. Reporting to the Director of Marketing & Communications, this position plays an important role in executing Move United’s Vision 2028, specifically supporting awareness efforts to position the organization as the recognized leader in community-based adaptive sports.
III. Position Requirements
Work Experience:
1–3 years of professional experience in marketing, digital media, communications, graphic design or a related capacity.
Legally authorized to work permanently (i.e., without time limitations, restrictions, or need for work sponsorship) in the U.S.
Personal Attributes:
Education & Technical Skills:
Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, and SharePoint).
Proficiency across major social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, Threads, and YouTube.
Hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere) and/or visual design software (Canva, CapCut).

II. Specific Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
A. Marketing Execution & Brand Consistency
Ensure consistent, engaging messaging across print and digital marketing assets, including Move United’s, outreach material, website and social media platforms.
B. Content Creation
Design and produce engaging marketing materials (digital, print, website, and social media assets) aligned with department strategy and event or program needs.
C. Social Media Coordination
Serve as the on-site social media lead during signature events, posting continuously and coordinating with contracted photographers/videographers to source, edit, and format real-time content.
D. Website Administration
Review, edit, and update website content and layouts in WordPress to ensure information is accurate, user-friendly, relevant, and visually appealing.
Assist in writing and updating digital content, including staff, athlete, and Warfighter bios, as well as other sport specific content, as needed.
E. Workflow Coordination

Track, compile, and report digital analytics, delivering post-event and quarterly reports to evaluate the effectiveness of social media and website campaigns.
Build positive, collaborative relationships with Move United staff, athletes, member organizations, and volunteers to help amplify marketing initiatives.
