Overview
We are seeking a reliable, competent, and easy-going Pizza Cook to join our professional kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude and care about producing a quality product. This role requires reliable attendance, the ability to follow procedures and an agreeable attitude.
Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas, salads, and appetizers according to established recipes and customer preferences.
- Ensure all food preparation meets health and safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management.
- Utilize proper knife skills for food preparation, ensuring precision and safety in the kitchen environment.
- Safely drive and park the truck while traveling to and from locations
- Follow all open and closing procedures
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being able to take initiative when necessary.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and understand customer needs.
- A passion for cooking and creating high-quality meals that delight customers.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs.
