Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and organized Veterinary Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, and provide exceptional customer service and administrative support. This role requires strong communication skills, proficiency with office management tools, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Veterinary experience with Avimark,Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace is highly desirable. Bilingual abilities are a plus to assist diverse clientele.
Duties
- Greet visitors and clients warmly, ensuring a positive first impression
- Manage multi-line phone systems, checking and answering emails, and direct inquiries appropriately
- Handle appointment scheduling using Avimark Software
- Route appointments to doctors and technicians in a timely manner
- Perform data entry, and maintain accurate records of correspondence and appointments
- Support customer service efforts by addressing inquiries promptly and professionally
- Maintain a professional appearance of the reception area at all times
Qualifications
- Must have experience in a Veterinary office environment
- Strong computer literacy including proficiency with Avimark and data entry systems desirable
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Exceptional phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse clients effectively
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a busy environment
Pay: $10.00 - $14.00 per hour
