We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans tailored to infants’ needs and milestones
- Supervise children at all times, ensuring their safety and well-being through attentive child supervision and classroom management
- Foster a warm, inclusive environment that encourages exploration, curiosity, and social-emotional growth
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and developmental achievements
- Maintain accurate records of daily activities, developmental milestones, and incident reports in compliance with mandated reporting laws
- Support children with special needs by adapting activities and collaborating with specialists in early childhood education or special education
- Ensure adherence to health and safety standards by practicing pediatric first aid, CPR, and following proper sanitation procedures
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with infants in daycare centers or preschool settings; classroom experience preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and child care best practices
- Certification in first aid, CPR, including pediatric first aid; additional certifications in special education or behavior management are a plus
- Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration
- Familiarity with mandated reporting laws related to child safety and welfare
- Ability to manage classroom dynamics with patience, enthusiasm, and professionalism
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable
