Responsibilities

- Manage inventory control, including ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing waste to optimize food costs
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards across all kitchen areas
- Train and develop staff on cooking techniques, food handling, and customer service best practices
- Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, sales tracking, and cash handling
- Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure smooth shift management and exceptional guest experiences
Requirements
- Proven experience in managing kitchens within quick service or fast food restaurant settings, with a focus on Mediterranean or similar cuisines
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training, supervision, and team management
- Background in hospitality management or restaurant operations with a focus on food service management
- Excellent organizational skills for inventory control, budgeting, and shift scheduling
- Previous experience in fine dining or casual dining environments is preferred; banquet or catering experience is a plus
- Ability to interview candidates effectively and contribute to hiring decisions
- Strong communication skills to coordinate between kitchen staff and front-of-house teams effectively
