About the Role
As a Dairy Processing Specialist, you will oversee the transformation of raw milk into premium cheese products, ensuring every batch meets our high standards for flavor and texture. You will master the art and science of cheesemaking, utilizing your technical expertise in pasteurization and vat management to drive consistent, high-quality production outcomes.
Responsibilities-
Manage the entire cheesemaking lifecycle, including precise temperature control, ingredient integration, and monitoring critical stages like cutting, cooking, and stirring.

Optimize production efficiency by effectively coordinating resources and ensuring all team members adhere to strict food safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

Maintain and calibrate processing equipment, including pasteurizers and separators, to ensure peak performance and accurate documentation.

Analyze product body and texture throughout the process to make real-time adjustments that guarantee a superior finished product.

Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing methods, equipment reliability, and overall yield.

Supervise production workflows to ensure all manufacturing requirements and deadlines are met with precision and consistency.

Execute rigorous facility sanitation protocols, including Clean-in-Place (CIP) procedures, to maintain a pristine production environment.
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Proven experience in a dairy or food manufacturing environment.

Operational knowledge of cheesemaking processes, including pasteurization and vat management.

Ability to interpret technical charts, gauges, and thermometers accurately.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

Active cheesemaker license or the commitment to obtain one upon hire.

Demonstrated leadership experience in a production or manufacturing setting.

Advanced understanding of dairy chemistry and sanitation chemicals.

Technical proficiency in equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
