Travel Cath Lab / EP Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab

American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with 2+ years of experience and Epic proficiency for a 13-week cardiac cath lab assignment.

Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technology, Respiratory Therapy, Cardiovascular Technology, or Paramedic program
Minimum of 2 years of RN, Radiology Technology, Respiratory Therapy, Paramedic, or Critical Care/ED nursing experience
Cardiac specialty experience preferred
Active BLS (ARC or AHA Healthcare Provider) required
One of the following credentials required: ARRT, RRT (licensed by NCRCB and credentialed by NBRC), NC EMT-P credentialing, or graduation from an accredited Cardiovascular Technology program (RCIS certification required within 3 months of hire)
Epic experience required
License required if applicable
Must provide 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years
Copy of driver's license required for consideration

Assess patient medical history and current condition to prepare patients for cardiac catheterization procedures
Prepare specialized equipment and monitor patients throughout procedures to ensure safety and optimal outcomes
Collaborate with physicians and technicians to support smooth and successful procedure execution
Provide patient education and support before, during, and after cath lab procedures
All candidates must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during compliance, with two attempts allowed — candidates should prepare in advance as study materials are not provided by the facility
Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
