Summary:
We are expanding and need a reliable and energetic line operator with a positive attitude to support our growth. This is an hourly position responsible for manufacturing unique, high quality conductive materials for use in defense, aerospace, and green energy applications.
Key Accountabilities:
Production activities required to manufacture conductive materials such as metal plated fibers or coated non-woven materials including:
- Hazardous material handling, including spill clean-up, in accordance with established safe handling practices and safety procedures
- Accurate and precise large and small volume chemical transfers
- Accurate and precise preparation of chemical solutions/plating baths
- Inspection of raw materials
- Testing of in-process and finished material
- Accurate data recording; labelling, and packaging of finished goods
- Cleaning, inspection, and maintenance of process and test equipment
- Optimize operational efficiencies
- Active participation in the site EHS program
The successful candidate will have;
- US Citizenship
- AA, AS degree or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated enthusiasm and initiative to support robust, repeatable, and safe manufacturing processes
- Ability to work well with minimal supervision and follow verbal and written instructions
- Perform all work in a manner that is in full compliance with company policies and all applicable regulatory agencies. Training will be provided. (e.g. Dept. of State, Dept. of Commerce, OSHA, EPA, and DEC)
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment or with handling chemicals or working in an electroplating environment an advantage
- Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage changing priorities
- Computer capable with Microsoft Office

This is an hourly position, working Monday through Friday typically from 7:00 to 15:30 in a production environment. The work schedule may occasionally be adjusted to meet company needs.
This position requires working with hazardous chemicals with appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, protective gloves, steel toed boots, and, at times, a respirator. This position requires passing medical clearance for respirator use and ensuring there are no conditions that may interfere with the face-to-facepiece respirator seal or respirator valve function.
You must be willing to take a drug test and submit to a background investigation as part of the selection process.
This position requires regular physical exertion with significant time walking and standing in a production environment and the ability to routinely lift up to 50 lbs unassisted.
