Pay: $27.00–$32.00 per hour (DOE)
Valley Iron is seeking a dependable, safety-focused Class A CDL Driver to join our Vacaville team. If you take pride in providing excellent customer service, operating safely, and being part of a hardworking team, we'd love to hear from you.
This position involves delivering customer orders in a timely manner while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and professionalism. When deliveries are complete, you'll assist with yard and warehouse operations.

Safely operate a Class A bobtail or tractor-trailer truck.

Deliver customer orders accurately and on time.

Pull and prepare orders for delivery.

Load, unload, secure, tarp, and chain materials as needed.

Climb on and off trailers and equipment safely.

Inspect trucks before and after each trip.

Maintain accurate driver logs and ELD records in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Verify load measurements and ensure cargo is properly secured.

Keep trucks clean and well-maintained.

Follow all DOT, company, and safety procedures.

Report equipment issues or incidents promptly.

Assist in the yard and warehouse when not making deliveries.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:

Valid California Class A CDL (Required)

Valid DOT Medical Card (Required)

Minimum 1 year of Class A driving experience preferred (tractor-trailer and flatbed experience is a plus)

Forklift certification preferred (or ability to obtain)

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding work

Ability to climb trailers and forklifts safely

Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety

Must meet FMCSA English language proficiency requirements under 49 CFR §391.11(b)(2)

Outdoor work in varying weather conditions

Long periods of driving with frequent loading and unloading

Fast-paced environment with changing priorities

Exposure to noise, dust, and occasional chemical fumes

Use of PPE and various material handling equipment
