We are looking for an Event Sales Manager to join our team at New Highmark Stadium in Buffalo, NY. As an Event Sales Manager, you will be responsible for generating private event revenue from sales through various outreach channels including their own network of contacts and incoming leads. Additionally, the event sales manager will coordinate and collaborate with the food & beverage team to ensure seamless transition from a sale to execution of all events. Proactively solicit new business by, among other things, making sales calls and presentations, attending local trade shows, and engaging in other client prospecting in order to increase the size of the Organization’s potential client database
Prepare and provide required reports to the Director of Sales including special event revenue reports, profit and loss statements, sales recaps, and departmental projections
Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in spreadsheet, database, and word processing programs
Must have sufficient mobility to perform tasks including constant reaching, bending, stooping, wiping, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time
Competitive salary: $65,000 plus commission and bonus opportunity commensurate with experience, and a generous benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, paid vacation, and 401k plan.
