The Opportunity
As an Account Executive, you'll be responsible for growing and managing a portfolio of wholesale accounts while delivering an exceptional customer experience. You'll work closely with buyers to understand their business, merchandise our collections, identify opportunities for growth, and help ensure their long-term success with Thread & Supply.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing relationship management with strategic selling, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is motivated by achieving measurable results.
What You'll Do
- Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of independent boutiques and key wholesale accounts.
- Develop strong relationships with buyers through consistent communication and exceptional service.
- Identify new business opportunities and actively prospect qualified wholesale accounts.
- Present seasonal collections and merchandise assortments that align with each customer's business.
- Analyze sales performance and recommend strategies to improve sell-through and account growth.
- Collaborate with Planning, Production, Customer Service, and Marketing to ensure an outstanding customer experience.
- Prepare for and participate in major trade shows and seasonal markets.
- Travel throughout your assigned territory for customer visits and road selling.
- Represent Thread & Supply with professionalism, enthusiasm, and a solutions-first mindset.
- Maintain accurate customer information, sales activity, and opportunities within our CRM.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and customer needs.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of wholesale apparel sales or account management experience.
- Strong relationship-building and customer service skills.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Organized with exceptional follow-through and attention to detail.
- Comfortable analyzing sales reports and translating data into action plans.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and CRM platforms.
- Experience working with independent boutiques and specialty retailers is highly preferred.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout your territory.
Travel
- Regional travel for customer meetings and road sales.
- Attendance at seasonal markets and trade shows.
- Two trips annually to the MAGIC trade show in Las Vegas.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
