We are seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) for a 23-week travel assignment in Atlanta, Georgia. The ideal candidate will have strong cardiovascular, vascular, and thoracic surgical experience and be comfortable working in a high-acuity CVOR environment.

Requirements
- Current RN license with a Georgia or Compact license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Minimum 2 years of relevant CVOR experience
- Strong experience in:
- Cardiac surgery
- Vascular surgery
- Thoracic surgery
- Experience with cardiovascular surgical procedures
- Ability to scrub cardiovascular, vascular, and thoracic cases preferred
- Must be comfortable floating within the facility and to the Main OR as needed
- Ability to participate in a rotating call schedule
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular, vascular, and thoracic surgical procedures.
- Assist with complex CVOR procedures and maintain patient safety throughout the surgical process.
- Scrub and circulate for cardiovascular and vascular procedures as needed.
- Monitor patients and recognize changes in clinical condition.
- Assist with procedures including:
- Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG)
- Aortic aneurysm repair
- Carotid endarterectomy and stenting
- Femoral-popliteal bypass
- TAVR
- Mitral valve replacement
- MAZE procedures
- IABP and ventricular assist device procedures
- Thoracotomy and VATS procedures
- Maintain sterile technique and follow infection-control protocols.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, respiratory services, and other members of the surgical team.
- Provide safe, evidence-based care to adult and geriatric patients.
Pay: $70.00 - $80.00 per hour
Experience:
- CVOR: 2 years (Required)
- Cardiac surgery, Vascular surgery, Thoracic surgery: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
