We are a Mandarin Immersion child care center serving children ages 2 to 5 in South San Francisco, CA.
Our program emphasizes relationships between teachers and students and developmentally appropriate practice. We are seeking upbeat and enthusiastic teachers and assistant teachers who are fluent and native in Mandarin. Full time and part time positions are available.
Responsibilities:
- Teach and supervise preschool-aged children
- Support other staff members and work in a team environment
- Encourage discussion and learning through play throughout the day
- Communicate effectively with other teachers, administration, and staff
- Support program mission and philosophy
- Conduct parent-teacher conferences
- Communicate with parents as necessary
- Teach and communicate with students in Mandarin Qualifications
: Fluency in Mandarin
- Speak fluent Mandarin
- Experience and passion in teaching young children
- Minimum of 12 core ECE units for teachers
- Minimum of 3 core ECE units for assistant teachers
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in ECE field
- Must be able to pass TB clearance and background check
- Enthusiastic team player, outgoing, cheerful and friendly
- Great communication skills
