Fuel Oil Delivery Driver (Full-Time or Part-Time)

This position primarily involves delivering fuel oil, diesel, and gasoline to residential and commercial customers, with opportunities available for drivers interested in cross-training for propane deliveries. Our drivers enjoy local routes, modern equipment, and year-round work opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely load fuel oil, diesel, or gasoline at our docking facilities/terminals.
- Safely transport and deliver product to a set number of scheduled stops per day, serving both residential homes and commercial businesses.
- Operate modern fuel delivery trucks equipped with the latest GPS navigation tablets for efficient route planning.
- Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards.
- Conduct basic tank inspections, fill customer tanks accurately, and provide excellent customer service (no whistle, no fill).
- Complete delivery paperwork, maintain accurate records, and handle payments or invoicing as required.
- Adhere strictly to all hazardous materials handling procedures and safety protocols.
Requirements:
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazmat (and preferably Tanker) endorsement.
- Clean driving record and ability to pass background check and drug screening.
- Physical ability to handle hoses, climb in/out of trucks, and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction.
- Experience in fuel oil, diesel, gasoline, or propane delivery is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- No propane delivery experience required—however, drivers interested in cross-training for propane routes will have access to paid training and opportunities for higher earning potential.
