Hours: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM to start, transition to 2nd shift after a few weeks 3:45pm - 12:15pm
Pay Rate: $18 - $25 Per Hour

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cutting, joining, and shaping metal materials using various welding techniques. This role requires a strong understanding of blueprints, technical drawings, and safety procedures to ensure high-quality workmanship and adherence to industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Operate welding equipment such as MIG, TIG, Stick, and other specialized machinery.
- Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal, or overhead).
- Inspect welded surfaces and structures to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations, wearing appropriate protective gear at all times.
- Set up and prepare materials for welding, including cutting, measuring, and aligning parts.
- Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and team members to meet project deadlines.
- Conduct repairs and modifications on metal structures and equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as a welder, with certification preferred.
- Proficiency in various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick, Sub-Arc, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to work in a hazardous environment.
- Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials and equipment.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Familiarity with metal fabrication processes is a plus.
Work Environment:
- Exposure to high temperatures, sparks, and loud noises.
- Requires standing, bending, and lifting heavy materials for extended periods.
- Use of protective gear, including gloves, helmets, and safety glasses.
