Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles with manual transmissions to deliver goods to customers efficiently and on schedule
- Load and unload shipments using pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), or manual handling techniques, ensuring proper handling of all items
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after routes to maintain safety standards and report any issues promptly
- Follow designated routes, navigate traffic confidently, and adapt to changing delivery schedules with a positive attitude
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting clients professionally, answering questions, and ensuring their satisfaction upon delivery
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as organizing inventory, moving stock within the facility, and maintaining a clean workspace
- Load and secure items carefully in the truck to prevent damage during transit while adhering to safety protocols for heavy lifting
Experience
- Prior delivery driver experience or courier background preferred; familiarity with route driving is a plus
- Warehouse experience including loading/unloading, moving heavy items, or operating equipment like pallet jacks or forklifts (certification preferred)
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients and team members
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) or <PERSON> driver certification is advantageous
- Ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly, perform manual labor safely, and work in physically demanding environments
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to driving, moving goods, and operating warehouse equipment

Pay: $55.00 - $160.00 per day
