Job Summary
We are a growing local moving company looking for reliable, hardworking, and professional Movers to join our team.
As a Mover, you will help customers safely and efficiently move furniture, boxes, appliances, and other household or business items from one location to another. This is a hands-on position that requires physical strength, teamwork, attention to detail, and excellent customer service.
We are looking for people who show up on time, work hard, take care of customers' belongings, and maintain a positive attitude throughout the move. Moving experience is preferred but not required—we are willing to train dependable candidates with a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload moving trucks safely and efficiently.
- Move furniture, boxes, appliances, and other household or commercial items.
- Properly wrap and protect furniture using moving blankets, shrink wrap, and other protective materials.
- Safely carry items through homes, apartments, offices, hallways, elevators, and stairways.
- Disassemble and reassemble basic furniture when necessary.
- Properly organize and secure items inside the moving truck to prevent shifting or damage.
- Protect customers' homes and businesses from damage during the moving process.
- Follow instructions from the crew leader or moving supervisor.
- Work efficiently as part of a moving crew to complete jobs on schedule.
- Keep trucks, moving equipment, and work areas clean and organized.
- Assist with preparing equipment and supplies before each move.
- Provide friendly, respectful, and professional customer service.
- Immediately report damaged items, property concerns, safety issues, or customer concerns to the crew leader.
- Follow company procedures and all applicable safety requirements.
Physical Requirements
This is a physically demanding position. Applicants must be able to:
- Regularly lift and carry heavy furniture, boxes, and other items.
- Safely lift approximately 50–75+ pounds individually and heavier items with assistance.
- Perform repeated lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, bending, and climbing stairs throughout the workday.
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Remain physically active for extended periods.
- Safely use moving equipment such as dollies, hand trucks, straps, ramps, and moving blankets.

- Previous moving, delivery, warehouse, construction, landscaping, or other physical labor experience is a plus.
- Moving experience is preferred but not required.
- Reliable transportation to the designated work location is preferred.

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
