Job Summary
Diverse Dependable Housing (DDH) is seeking a dedicated, energetic, and recovery-oriented Live-In Resident House Manager to assist with the daily operations of a structured men's recovery residence. In this vital role, you will serve as a primary point of contact for residents, staff, and visitors while helping maintain a safe, supportive, and accountable living environment. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of continuous sobriety, strong leadership and communication skills, and a genuine passion for helping individuals in recovery achieve stability, personal growth, and long-term success.
This position plays a key role in promoting recovery, behavioral health, accountability, and community living through effective supervision, conflict resolution, crisis intervention, and compassionate support. The House Manager will help ensure compliance with house rules, foster a positive community atmosphere, and contribute to the overall success of the residence. This is a live-in position that offers reduced housing costs in exchange for house management responsibilities, providing an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while supporting the daily operations of a well-organized and recovery-focused home.
Duties
- Enforce house rules, policies, and curfew requirements
- Conduct room and property inspections
- Administer and document drug and alcohol screenings
- Observe and document medication self-administration as required
- Facilitate house meetings and accountability check-ins
- Assist residents with recovery goals and program compliance
- Complete incident reports and required documentation
- Maintain a safe, clean, and structured living environment
- Communicate concerns and updates to management
- Assist with resident admissions, orientations, and move-outs
- Provide peer support and positive role modeling
Skills & Experience
- Minimum 1 year continuous sobriety required
- Experience in recovery housing, behavioral health, peer support, or related field preferred
- Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to maintain professional boundaries
- Leadership and problem-solving abilities
- Basic computer and documentation skills
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work independently and respond appropriately to emergencies
- BHT, CRRA, Recovery Peer Specialist, or related certifications preferred but not required

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
