Crow Shields Bailey, PC (CSB), a growing regional CPA and consulting firm, is seeking an experienced Audit Manager to join our team.
This is an opportunity for an accomplished audit professional who is ready to take the next step in their career—leading client relationships, developing talented professionals, and helping shape the future of a growing firm.
At CSB, our Managers are more than technical experts. They are trusted advisors, mentors, relationship managers, and leaders who play an important role in the success of our clients, our people, and our firm.
What You’ll Do
As an Audit Manager, you will:
- Lead and manage audit, review, compilation, and other assurance engagements from planning through completion.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and primary relationship manager for key clients.
- Develop a strong understanding of clients’ businesses, industries, challenges, and objectives.
- Provide technical leadership on complex accounting, auditing, and financial reporting matters.
- Ensure engagements meet applicable professional standards and CSB’s quality expectations.

- Identify opportunities to provide additional value and services to existing clients.
- Develop, coach, and mentor supervisors, seniors and staff.
- Create meaningful opportunities for team members to grow and assume greater responsibility.
- Collaborate across service lines to bring the full resources of CSB to our clients.
- Participate in professional, community, and business development activities.
- Champion process improvement and the effective use of technology and AI within the assurance practice.
- Contribute to firm initiatives and the continued growth and development of our Assurance team.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- Active CPA license.
- Significant public accounting experience, including progressive responsibility managing audit engagements and client relationships.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and applicable auditing and assurance standards.
- Demonstrated ability to research and resolve complex accounting and auditing matters.
- Experience managing multiple engagements, deadlines, budgets, and teams simultaneously.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and people-development skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical matters in practical terms.
- Strong professional judgment and commitment to quality.
- A proactive, collaborative approach to leadership and client service.
- An interest in using technology, AI, and process improvement to enhance quality, efficiency, and client value.
What Success Looks Like at CSB
Our Managers combine technical excellence with leadership, sound business judgment, and a commitment to developing others. They understand that success is not measured solely by the quality of their own work, but also by the success of their clients, the development of their teams, and their contribution to the firm.
We are looking for someone who takes ownership, communicates proactively, embraces change, develops strong relationships, and wants to make a meaningful contribution to the future of the firm.
