Job Title: Cashier/Server
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Cashier/Server for an express Vietnamese food restaurant. As a Cashier/Server, you will be responsible for processing transactions accurately and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Duties:
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide information about products and promotions
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Handle cash, credit, and check transactions with precision
- Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels
- Resolve customer complaints in a calm and professional manner
- Prepare and serve drink and dessert orders
- Serve food orders
- Pack to go orders accurately and efficiently
- Cleaning duties (discard trash, sweep, mop, assist washing dishes, clean windows/doors, etc)
Qualifications:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Basic math skills required
- Knowledge of retail math principles
- Familiarity with technology sales is advantageous
- Excellent phone etiquette
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $7.25 - $15.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
