This full-time role follows a traditional school schedule—Monday through Friday, 7 hours each day—ensuring a consistent routine and work-life balance. The assignment is set for the entire 2026-2027 school year, offering stability and the chance to see your contributions make a difference throughout the academic year.
Ideal candidates will have:
- A valid Washington State Occupational Therapy License from the Department of Health
- An active Washington State OSPI ESA license with an occupational therapy endorsement (must be fully licensed)
- Previous experience in a school setting preferred, though not required
- The ability to work collaboratively with educators and other specialists
- Excellent communication, adaptability, and a passion for serving students with diverse needs
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering occupational therapy services to students with varying disabilities
- Developing and implementing individualized plans that support students’ educational goals
- Collaborating with teachers, staff, and families to promote student success
- Accurately documenting services provided and progress achieved
- Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to comprehensive student support teams
