Duties

- Assist in menu planning by providing input on recipes, ingredients, and presentation styles to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, portioning, and assembling ingredients efficiently.
- Maintain proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations.
- Support the kitchen team during busy service hours by managing multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Follow all food safety protocols including proper storage, sanitation practices, and temperature controls to prevent contamination.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of meals to guests or dining areas.
Requirements
- Previous experience in dietary departments or dietary aide roles is highly desirable.
- Proven culinary experience in fine dining or restaurant settings demonstrating excellent knife skills and food preparation techniques.
- Knowledge of menu planning, catering, and serving processes within the food industry.
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Experience with food industry equipment such as ovens, grills, fryers, and prep stations.
