Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards
- Assist in menu planning to ensure diverse and appealing pizza options
- Handle food preparation tasks such as dough making, topping assembly, and ingredient portioning
- Maintain proper food safety and sanitation practices throughout all stages of food handling and cooking
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, knives, and other culinary tools
- Ensure timely delivery of hot, fresh pizzas to customers or service stations
- Support the team with meal preparation for catering events or special functions as needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within a restaurant or culinary setting
- Knowledge of menu planning, food safety standards, and kitchen operations
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
- Experience with fine dining or catering environments is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Passion for the food industry with a focus on quality service and customer satisfaction
