Job Description:
We're hiring a Team Lead-Manufacturing Production (2nd shift) at Schneider Electric-Fairfield 1, to supervise manual cell operations and drive daily performance in safety, quality, and output. What will you do?

Lead daily manual cell operations to achieve safety, quality, and production goals

Coordinate staffing, work instructions, and material flow while coaching operators on best practices and ergonomics

Monitor performance, verify quality inspections, and resolve issues swiftly with appropriate escalation

Manage shift handovers, ensure training compliance, and champion continuous improvement efforts
-
Read blueprints, schematics, diagrams, or technical orders to determine methods and sequences of assembly.

Assemble parts or units, and position, align, and fasten units to assemblies, sub-assemblies, or frames, using hand tools and power tools.

Connect cables, tubes, and wiring, according to specifications. Inspect, test, and adjust completed units to ensure that units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer order requirements.

Inspect, built & wired pans.

Answer questions and contact engineers as needed.

Inspect wiring quality and electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, etc.

Repair or replace wiring and equipment using hand tools and power tools.

Direct and train workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring or equipment.

Drive 5S consistency for area of responsibility.

Work with materials team to ensure parts availability for future production orders.

Will perform other duties as required.
