Agricultural Customer Service and Freight Coordinator
Job Description
Reports to: Customer Service Manager
Summary: Receive and process customer orders. Process daily release from QA. Works with the Freight Coordinator to determine carrier selection and routing of deliveries by INI trucks. We also would like to have this position cross-trained to fill in for Freight Coordinator and Receptionist for coverage during vacation time and other needed time off. You will provide COA's, SDS and specification sheets at customer request. Work with the accounting department on inventory and invoice issues. Accounting background is a plus!
Domestic LTL and truckload freight knowledge helpful to back up our Freight Coordinator.
Essential Functions:
- Answer customer calls for ordering and service.
- Attention to detail is a must.
- Accurate data entry skills.
- Great communication skills.
- On time and regular attendance is required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of basic office equipment (i.e. computer, copier, etc.)
- Knowledge of computer programs (i.e. Word, Excel, and Internet)
- Effective time management skills.
- Knowledge related to bills of lading and other shipping documents.
- The ability to listen and understand information both oral and written.
Education and Experience:
This position requires a high school diploma.
A college degree would be beneficial.
Any experience related to manufacturing &/or domestic freight customer service.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
