EVS Representative JOB SUMMARY: Performs maintenance duties as required. Keep the gaming floor clean of trash and debris. Uses small upright vacuum and broom/dust pan. Clean the gaming machines, between machines, and all surrounding areas including gaming chairs. Empty and change garbage can liners. Maintain restrooms and restock all paper products. Have the ability to operate dishwasher, card board and trash compactor.
SUPERVISION EXERCISED: None.
LICENSE REQUIRED: Must obtain and hold a Class II gaming license while employed and complete an annual background check with TGA.
MINUMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED FOR POSITION: High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred. Prefer 3 months consecutive related work experience but on the job training is available for the team member that has the desire to learn.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours. Must be able to bend, reach, squat and able to lift at least forty-five pounds (45lbs).
SPECIFIC SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR POSITION: Prefer three months verifiable industrial janitorial experience to include office spaces, general grounds cleaning and knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper use but on the job training is available. Ability to read and write, understand Global SDS sheets and follow directions.

Representative duties:
- Able to follow directives and instruction.
- Pick-up and remove trash and recyclable material from the building.
- Keep ashtrays clean on the gaming floor.
- Clean and stock restroom areas.
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks.
- Maintain all floor areas, clean of debris by using vacuums or sweepers, shampooing and buffing.
- Clean windows, partitions and common areas.
- Clean Machines, of debris, dust and polish.
- Wipe down walls, trash cans, chairs, rails as needed.
- Able to set up and take down tables, chairs, pole and drape for banquets/trainings/meetings.
- Vacuum, mop, trash, and restock supplies, water for to the casino departments.
- Able to communicate, with co-workers and supervisors.
- Works in a manner, which will cause the least amount of disturbance to the guests.
- Record and report any maintenance problem found.
Know and abide by all company policies and procedures including safety, security, and emergency procedures.
Restroom Attendant duties:
- Restroom Attendant will stay in the restroom they are assigned for their entire shift. They may not leave the restroom unattended unless another team member takes their place. They will be relieved for breaks and lunch break.
- Must wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Must be able to work independently, in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects.
- Must be able to work in a manner that will cause the least amount of disturbance to guests.
- Provide great guest service by being aware of our offerings, promotions, answering any questions the guest may have and directing guests to clean/open stalls when needed.
- Will be responsible for maintaining clean and functional restroom.
- Restock and replace all supplies (paper towels, toilet paper, seat covers, facial tissue and soap).
- Sanitize toilets and urinals after every use (replace urinal screens and remove debris).
- Wipe counters, sinks and clean mirrors.
- Sweep debris off the floor and mop up excess water.
- Check and empty trash as needed.
- Check and fill women’s feminine boxes.
- Wipe down and sanitize door handles, stalls, walls, dispensers, trash cans and all other high contact touch points in restrooms.
- Dust walls, ceiling, vents, partitions and fixtures.
- Must be able to use cleaning equipment and tools (plunger and toilet auger).
- Report anything that is not working or may be broken (toilets, urinals, sinks, dispensers and lights) to the Lead so that it can be repaired timely.
- Be aware of and report any suspicious activity and/or vandalism to Lead or Security immediately.
- Check, clean and stock supply room.
EVS Representative/Restroom Attendant duties:
- Identifies ways to improve workflows and processes to work smarter and increase efficiency.
- Understands how they and their team create value and uses that knowledge to help them manage theirs and the team’s time, knowledge and resources.
- Familiar with all our games, their locations, and how to play.
- Proactively helps guests to resolve concerns; particularly when the guest has not been satisfied and strives for a win-win situation.
- When resolving the guest concern explains what’s being done and “why."
- Makes judgment calls based on understanding Legends Casinos’ Purpose, Values and objectives while utilizing research, knowledge, and experience.
- Arrives to work on time as scheduled, prepared to work, and reports in appropriately.
- Completes full shift as scheduled daily, shares in responsibility of the work load of assigned shift.
- Ensures that their scheduled work is covered and that the team is not adversely affected by their absence.

DUAL LEAD JOB SUMMARY: Provides direct supervision and oversees cleaning of casino building and grounds. Manages and coordinates the work of the EVS Representative’s ensuring quality cleaning and maintenance of the facility.
SUPERVISION EXCERCISED: As EVS Representative – none. As EVS Lead – EVS Representative.
MINUMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED FOR POSITION: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. 2 years combined experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience in custodial field of work. 1 year of supervisory experience.
SPECIFIC SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED FOR POSITION: Verifiable supervisory experience. Ability to manage and motivate associates. Some experience in all aspects of industrial cleaning and maintenance including carpets, offices, restrooms and grounds. Strong understanding of the Global SDS sheets, some administrative abilities including basic computer knowledge and phone use.

- Ensure and maintain compliance with all ordinances, laws and other communicated expectations including but not limited to: NIGC Regulations, Yakama Gaming Ordinance, State Gaming Compact, Tribal Internal Controls and other communications from regulatory personnel.
- Supervises crew to facilitate most effective use of labor hours. Also, do walk through in each assigned work area, and check to see if work is acceptable.
- Oversee shift workers when Lead is on their scheduled day off.
- Perform assigned work tasks from Lead and/or Environmental Services Manager.
- Follow up with shift Lead, pertaining to area inspections and correct unsatisfactory work.
