Compensation: $26.45 - $37.23 per hour DOE + shift differential on applicable shifts
Shift: Multiple shift positions available – overtime as needed.
Position Summary
Reporting directly to the Production Manager, the Process Technician is responsible for performing tasks necessary to support high-quality, efficient, and timely production and shipment of ThermoSafe products. This role runs machines across different production lines and requires the ability to learn and excel in multiple departments. Excellent attendance is crucial for the team to achieve success.
Key Responsibilities

Monitor operations processes, workflow, and material flow to ensure quality standards and customer specifications are met.

Report accurate production numbers and communicate production updates as required.

Perform preventive maintenance activities, including running tests and trial runs as needed.

Perform tool changes and repairs as needed while following all HECP and LOTO procedures.

Perform and/or assign quality checks, burst testing, salinity checks, and weight checks.

Communicate with maintenance teams and vendors regarding needed supplies and work orders.

Maintain organization of all tooling in clearly labeled storage locations.

Meet production goals established by the Shift Supervisor, Production Manager, and plant leadership.

Direct Inspector/Packers to support efficient labor use and minimize costs.

Sufficient mechanical skills to troubleshoot and resolve machine issues.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements
This position requires regular standing and walking throughout the workday and involves repetitious duties in a manufacturing environment. Employees frequently use their hands and arms to perform job duties and may occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, speak, and hear. The role requires the ability to lift, carry, and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds as needed.
Work is performed in a manufacturing environment that is not temperature controlled. Employees may be exposed to varying indoor temperatures and seasonal conditions typical of an industrial production setting. The work environment may also involve exposure to moving mechanical equipment, chemicals, fumes, airborne particles, and elevated noise levels. The use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including respiratory and hearing protection, may be required based on job assignments and work area conditions.
